We're Laura and Hannah, two friends who share a deep love for the magic of Florida. "Sunshine and Ears" was born from our different but equally passionate approaches to the perfect holiday. Together, we've explored every corner of the sunshine state—from coast-to-coast road trips to immersive theme park adventures—and we're here to share everything we've learned to help you plan your own dream holiday.

Laura's Story - The Adventurer

For Laura, the love affair with Florida started at 16, exploring the stunning Gulf Coast. A "once-in-a-lifetime" honeymoon to Orlando in 2017 quickly became a regular pilgrimage, and her most epic adventure was a summer-long road trip in 2022. She journeyed from the vibrant streets of Tampa all the way down to the tropical Keys, before winding her way back up the Atlantic coast. When she's not exploring, Laura finds her ultimate happy place on the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island, with its calm waves and beautiful blue water.

Hannah's Story - The Disney Guru

Hannah's first trip to Orlando at the age of 20 instantly captivated her, and she has been back multiple times since. She loves being completely immersed in the magic and is the ultimate expert on making the most of an on-site stay. As a dedicated Disney Vacation Club member since 2020, Hannah lives and breathes the Disney bubble—her favourite resort is the rustic and beautiful Wilderness Lodge. She is your go-to guide for all things Disney.
